REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years experience (with at least 2 yrs exp in a similar SP role) agency-side (fast-paced creative agencies, not design/build).
- Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills.

Specific responsibility for producing the above scope of work, including concept development, strategy, project specifications (information architecture, functional specs, wire framing etc), research and consulting (technical and creative), management of project time-lines, budgets and cost estimates.
Experience/Skills
The ideal person will be creative, resourceful, innovative and pro-active.
You will need to have 5+ years of experience within a similar role.
Thorough knowledge of digital / interactive mediums and production processes.
You will need to have great attention to detail, be service orientated with good communication, organizational & time management skills.

The Technical Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing content across several digital properties on behalf of the agency’s client. The position would be based 4 days per week in Homebush working from the client’s office and the 5th day would be from the agency offices in the city.
This role will be the primary point of contact for the client and will be responsible for managing all content refreshes across a large corporate site, 2 microsites, mobile channels and social media. At a senior level the core expectation is that you lead your team and empower the agency towards it’s current and future goals, you will have responsibility for the direct line management of a team of creative technologists and developers, including the management of their performance and development.
Expectations:
• The ability to provide strong leadership to the Technology & Innovation team.
• Develop and maintain a best-in-class technical and hosting services offering.
• Provide thought leadership on the effective and innovative use of technology in the digital space.
• Oversee the delivery of technical components across multiple clients to ensure both deadlines and specifications are met.
• Keep the General Manager informed of status and raise any potential issues as early as possible.
• Pro-actively seek opportunities to enhance technical delivery processes in partnership with our EPs.
• Educate the agency-wide team and Group on the team’s capabilities and ongoing R&D initiatives.
• Be an active participant of the development network in Sydney to gain access to external specialist knowledge, bring in partners and help build agency profile.
• Play an active role within the senior management team.
Working closely with the creative technologists, you will lead the developers across all skillsets and ensure they are 100% clear on their responsibilities and KPI’s.
You will coach and mentor talent in your team in order to further their skills in line with individuals and business needs. This includes up-skilling developers to be able to service clients across multiple platforms and technologies – both trending and new/emerging ones to keep ahead of competition. Further the agency technical capabilities by consolidating the team’s competency in current platforms and technologies (e.g. HTML 5, iPhone/Android mobile development) and up-skilling the team on new and emerging platforms/technologies (e.g. MS Kinect/Windows 8, iPhone5)

Required:

A robust understanding of the technologies available across multiple platforms in the digital space, their development and future direction (including but not limited to .NET, PHP, HTML/5, CSS/3, Javascript, Flash, iOS)
Passionately keeping up to date with trending as well as new and emerging technologies and platforms that could benefit our clients
A complete understanding of creative development processes and information architecture
